Atticus Lee is an associate with Kotchen & Low LLP with experience in governmental compliance, agency investigations, and complex litigation, including in class action matters.

Prior to joining Kotchen & Low, Ms. Lee served as an Honors Trial Attorney with the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she investigated and litigated a wide range of pattern-or-practice class action cases to protect the constitutional rights of vulnerable populations, including incarcerated persons, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and justice-involved juveniles.

Ms. Lee clerked for The Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore of the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Texas, and previously clerked for the Fifth Circuit Court of Hawai’i in Kaua’i, Hawai’i. Ms. Lee graduated with Honors from U.C. Davis School of Law and served as Senior Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and Senior Articles Editor of Environs: The UC Davis Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.

Ms. Lee is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and proficient in German, Spanish, and American Sign Language. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology and Creative Writing from Stanford University. In her spare time, Ms. Lee is a jazz pianist, scuba diver, sailor, and meditation teacher.
