Coren (Cory) Hinkle is a senior associate whose main areas of practice are complex commercial litigation, class action litigation, and international dispute resolution. Cory has experience working on appellate, commercial, employment, and international cases. He has taken lead roles in nationwide class actions, commercial disputes, ICSID international investment arbitrations, and international trade disputes.
Cory’s legal career began in Denver, Colorado with a boutique law firm that primarily focused on commercial litigation, employment law, and international disputes. He then moved to Washington, DC and gained further experience representing clients in class actions, employment litigation, and international disputes under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA).
Cory is a former Chair of the International Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and a former Board Member of the World Trade Center. He has also taught courses in international arbitration at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and international law at Grenoble Ecole de Management in Grenoble, France. While in law school, he represented the University of Denver at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition in Vienna, Austria where he won awards for best oralist and best written brief.
Before perusing a career in law, Cory was an NCAA Division One athlete on the Men’s Volleyball team at the University of California, Irvine.
