Michael von Klemperer is an associate with Kotchen & Low LLP. His main practice areas include complex commercial litigation, patent litigation, and employment discrimination litigation.
Prior to joining Kotchen & Low, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Barbara Rothstein of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. As a law clerk, he worked on a broad range of matters and developed an in-depth understanding of case management and trial practice.
Michael attended law school at Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and participated in Vanderbilt’s Advanced Trial Advocacy program. During law school, he worked as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices for the Middle District of Tennessee and Southern District of Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University, where he graduated with honors. Michael was selected to the Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars for 2017 and 2018.
